Keep America Beautiful Great American Cleanup
On July 4, 2026, the United States will celebrate a historic milestone, America’s 250th birthday! To ensure the nation looks its best for this moment in time, Keep America Beautiful and more than 700 affiliates across the country are launching the Greatest American Cleanup, with a two-year goal to pick up 25 billion pieces of litter and engage 25,000 communities.
This initiative is about more than cleaning up trash and planting flowers. It’s about fostering civic pride, honoring our country’s natural beauty, and inspiring communities to work together for a sustainable future. In a recent Harris Poll, nearly 100% of Americans agreed on the importance of cleaning up litter from our public spaces, viewing it as essential for healthier, stronger communities.
The official opening day for Charlotte County's Keep America Beautiful Greatest American Cleanup® will be March 22nd. Please come join us for one or all of the events this season!
The first 800 people to register below receive Great American Cleanup t-shirts.
We also provide safety and collection supplies for your cleanup. Supply pickups will be by appointment.
